About the CD

After playing in amateur and professional solo contests for over 50 years, the Geoffrey Street Piper has released his first CD

This recording was made possible by the generous financial and lifetime support of my father who, at 90 years old, has been able to listen to the project through its various phases over the two months it took to complete

I would like to thank my family, who has had to endure a life of living with a bagpiper

Thanks to all the musicians who contributed their talents, time and support, as listed here

Thanks to Jim McGillivray and Ed Neigh who kept me honest with all components of the piping content, and Brian Hewson, who amongst many engineering feats, negotiated the difficult task of tuning all the instruments to the nine unorthodox notes and pitch of the Great Highland Pipe

This CD is dedicated to my great friend, the late John Finlay of Cambusland, Scotland, and my late Mother-in-Law Diane Molyneaux of Windsor, Ontario, who both would have loved to have heard this recording
